My journey with the great outdoors began at a young age on the rivers, streams, and mountains of Idaho. I have been camping, hunting, and fishing for as long as I can remember. At the age of twenty I started guiding backcountry elk hunts in the Frank Church Wilderness until 2017 when I finally made it up to Alaska, where I worked seasonally for a fishing lodge in the Ketchikan area. I fell in love with this place and have been here ever since. As a full time, year round, resident of Ketchikan I spend a lot of time on the water and will give you the best experience possible.
Now, at the helm of Misty Fjord Fishing, I find myself accompanied by my amazing partner Keliegh and trusty four-legged companion, Sable.

Meet Keliegh, a Montanan whose love for the outdoors was cultivated through hunting, fishing, and hiking in the rugged landscapes of her home state. In 2017, she set her sights on Alaska, leading her to a fishing dock where for the next several years, she immersed herself in the world of sport fishing, expanding her knowledge and passion for the industry. Today, Keliegh stands along side her partner Zach, contributing her wealth of experience to the operation of Misty Fjord Fishing. With a deep-rooted appreciation for the wild, Keliegh is dedicated to providing guests with an unforgettable experience.

Meet Sable, the spirited female Karelian Bear Dog pup who proudly holds the title of the official mascot at Misty Fjord Fishing. While she may not lend a paw in the fishing endeavors, her knack for keeping everyone entertained is unmatched! Sable adores meeting new people and is always thrilled to be waiting at the dock for you after a long day of fishing, bringing a paw-sitively delightful energy to the Misty Fjord experience. Rest assured, with Sable by our side, every fishing trip is bound to be a tail-wagging good time!
